Buy the MiniTitan if it’s your first ultrasound device, you want the lower price ($399, or $299.25 on pre-order until November 5, 2026), or you want something smaller. Buy the Titan ($1,100) if you want all four frequencies including 1 MHz, five modes with published frequencies, and a device that ships now. Both are gentle, non-focused ultrasound devices with a Titanium Grade 2 head, designed for daily use.

Quadthera key facts†

  • Quadthera Titan: $1,100 (with FORHERTZ gel). 1, 3, 10 and 19 MHz; 5 modes; 2 intensity levels; Titanium Grade 2 transducer head; patented piezoelectric ceramic transducer (per Quadthera); 10-minute auto-off.
  • Quadthera MiniTitan: $399 regular ($299.25 on pre-order until November 5, 2026; ships by November 15, 2026). 3, 10 and 19 MHz; 3 modes; 128 g.
  • FDA status: Class I listed (product code ISA, “massager, therapeutic, electric”), under manufacturer ECO DM LAB Co., Ltd. (Korea). Not FDA-cleared or approved.
  • Evidence: P&K Skin Research Center (Seoul) tested the Titan with FORHERTZ gel in 20 participants from April 16 to May 15, 2025, in a study commissioned by Quadthera. After 4 weeks Quadthera reports +32.2% surface firmness, +49.3% visible skin density, +21.5% visible elasticity and −44.8% pore depth. Vogue’s 4-week test found skin “a tiny bit smoother,” with more glow.
  • Terms: 1-year limited warranty; returns of unopened products within 30 days.

The big difference: does 1 MHz matter?

The MiniTitan drops 1 MHz, the Titan’s lowest frequency. In ultrasound physics, lower frequencies are absorbed more slowly and reach further into tissue, while 10 and 19 MHz act closer to the surface (StatPearls). So the Titan covers one more depth band.

If your goals are hydration, texture and glow, the MiniTitan’s 3, 10 and 19 MHz cover the frequencies Quadthera uses for its Firming (3·10·19) and Glow (10·19) modes on the Titan. If you want the Titan’s Booster (1·3) or Calming (1·3·10) programs as designed, you need the Titan.

Modes and intensity

  • Titan: Booster, Calming, Firming, Glow and Q Mode, with the frequencies for each published, plus two intensity levels.
  • MiniTitan: Calming, Glow and Firming, with Basic Care and Power Care settings. Quadthera hasn’t published which frequencies each MiniTitan mode uses.

If you like to know exactly what a program does, the Titan is better documented today. We’ll update this when the MiniTitan manual is public.

Price and the MiniTitan pre-order

The Titan is $1,100 with FORHERTZ gel. The MiniTitan, also sold with FORHERTZ gel, is $399 regular and $299.25 on pre-order (25% off). What’s the same on both

  • Titanium Grade 2 treatment head.
  • Low-intensity, non-focused ultrasound: no electrical current through the skin and no light.
  • A water-based gel layer (both come with FORHERTZ gel).
  • Champagne and Rose Gold finishes.
  • Regulatory status: Quadthera devices are Class I listed with FDA, not FDA-cleared.
  • Evidence: Quadthera’s 4-week P&K Skin Research Center study (20 participants, April 16–May 15, 2025) used the Titan with FORHERTZ gel and reports +32.2% surface firmness and +49.3% visible skin density.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Quadthera Titan and MiniTitan?
The Titan has four frequencies (1, 3, 10, 19 MHz) and five modes; the MiniTitan has three frequencies (3, 10, 19 MHz) and three modes (Calming, Glow, Firming) in a smaller 128 g body. Both have a Titanium Grade 2 head and two intensity settings. The Titan costs $1,100; the MiniTitan is $399, or $299.25 on pre-order.
Is the MiniTitan worth it over the Titan?
For most first-time ultrasound buyers, yes: it keeps the 3, 10 and 19 MHz frequencies for roughly a third of the price. The Titan is worth the extra if you specifically want 1 MHz, the Booster and Q modes, published per-mode frequencies and a device that ships today.
When does the MiniTitan pre-order close?
Quadthera says the pre-order window closes November 5, 2026, and orders ship by November 15 at the latest. Pre-orders are paid in full at checkout and can be cancelled any time before shipping. Orders after November 5 aren’t eligible for the 25% pre-order discount.
Does the MiniTitan have 1 MHz?
No. Quadthera lists alternating 3, 10 and 19 MHz for the MiniTitan. 1 MHz is the lowest (deepest-acting) frequency on the Titan and is used in its Booster, Calming and Q modes.
Are the Titan and MiniTitan FDA-cleared?
No. Quadthera devices are Class I listed with FDA under product code ISA (“massager, therapeutic, electric”), which is exempt from premarket review. FDA’s listing includes the models Quadthera-T1, -M1, -M3, -S1, -F1 and -PS1; Quadthera hasn’t said which one is the MiniTitan.
Which is better for sensitive skin?
Both offer a Calming mode and a lower intensity setting. Quadthera recommends Calming at Level 1 on the Titan for sensitive skin, and every-other-day use to start.
