Quadthera Titan vs THOME The Glow Signature: Which Ultrasound Device?
Two of the best-known K-beauty ultrasound handhelds. The Titan has four frequencies, five modes, a Titanium Grade 2 head and a patented piezoelectric transducer; THOME The Glow Signature has two frequencies and voice-guided routines. Here’s how they compare on what each brand publishes.
Quadthera Titan vs THOME The Glow: the short verdict
Disclosure: GlowLab Reviews and Quadthera US have common ownership. We may benefit financially from purchases of Quadthera products. Learn more. For most buyers, the Quadthera Titan is the stronger choice on published specs. It has four frequencies (1, 3, 10 and 19 MHz) to THOME’s two (3 and 10 MHz), five modes that each publish their frequencies, a Titanium Grade 2 transducer head, and a piezoelectric ceramic transducer that Quadthera lists as patented and its maker covers with Korean patent 10-2420176. THOME doesn’t state a head material or transducer type. Quadthera also publishes a 4-week P&K Skin Research Center study reporting +32.2% surface firmness and +49.3% visible skin density. The Titan is $1,100 with gel and works with any water-based gel.
Choose THOME The Glow Signature ($399 list) if a voice-guided 12-minute routine at a lower price matters most. Consider the Quadthera MiniTitan ($399, $299.25 on pre-order) if you want Quadthera’s titanium head and 3/10/19 MHz at a THOME-like price.
We haven’t tested either device hands-on. This comparison uses each brand’s published specs and policies (checked October 8, 2026), FDA’s database and the brands’ own study summaries. Single-device deep dives: Quadthera Titan review and THOME The Glow review.

Why the Titan feels premium
Beyond frequencies, the Titan’s build is where Quadthera puts its emphasis, and it documents both the head material and the transducer:
- Titanium Grade 2 head. Quadthera lists “one Titanium Grade 2 transducer head” and says titanium was chosen “for superior acoustic conductivity and skin-friendly texture.” Its FAQ adds that the titanium “provides optimal ultrasound conductivity, hypoallergenic properties, and exceptional durability” (Quadthera; FAQ). Grade 2 is one of the four unalloyed titanium grades in ASTM F67, the specification for titanium used in surgical implants (ASTM F67).
- Patented piezoelectric transducer. Quadthera names a “piezoelectric ceramic motor” as one of the Titan’s two patented technologies, alongside the Q Mode sequence. Its manufacturer, ECO DM LAB, cites Korean patent 10-2420176 for the Titan’s multi-frequency ultrasound (ECO DM LAB). That patent, granted July 12, 2022, describes a disc-shaped and a ring-shaped piezoelectric transducer on one metal horn, each with a different resonant frequency, so a single head can deliver several frequencies (KR 10-2420176 B1).
- What THOME and glow.m state. THOME’s The Glow Signature page doesn’t state a head material or transducer type. glow.m says its Cryo Sonic Pro has “a titanium head” (no grade given); its Booster Sonic page doesn’t state a material.
Quadthera key facts†
- Quadthera Titan: $1,100 (with FORHERTZ gel). 1, 3, 10 and 19 MHz; 5 modes; 2 intensity levels; Titanium Grade 2 transducer head; patented piezoelectric ceramic transducer (per Quadthera); 10-minute auto-off.
- Quadthera MiniTitan: $399 regular ($299.25 on pre-order until November 5, 2026; ships by November 15, 2026). 3, 10 and 19 MHz; 3 modes; 128 g.
- FDA status: Class I listed (product code ISA, “massager, therapeutic, electric”), under manufacturer ECO DM LAB Co., Ltd. (Korea). Not FDA-cleared or approved.
- Evidence: P&K Skin Research Center (Seoul) tested the Titan with FORHERTZ gel in 20 participants from April 16 to May 15, 2025, in a study commissioned by Quadthera. After 4 weeks Quadthera reports +32.2% surface firmness, +49.3% visible skin density, +21.5% visible elasticity and −44.8% pore depth. Vogue’s 4-week test found skin “a tiny bit smoother,” with more glow.
- Terms: 1-year limited warranty; returns of unopened products within 30 days.

Frequencies and modes
Both are low-intensity, non-focused ultrasound devices. The difference is range. THOME uses 3 and 10 MHz, sequencing them differently in each mode: Focus starts with 10 MHz, Tension starts with 3 MHz, and all three end on the two combined. The Titan adds 1 MHz below and 19 MHz above. Higher frequencies are absorbed closer to the surface and lower ones reach further (StatPearls), so the Titan covers more depth bands, from 1 MHz (the deepest) to 19 MHz (the most superficial).
The Titan’s five modes publish exactly which frequencies they use, so you can match a program to a goal: Booster (1·3 MHz) alongside skincare, Calming (1·3·10) for sensitive skin, Firming (3·10·19), Glow (10·19), and Q Mode, Quadthera’s patented sequence through all four. THOME’s three modes are simpler to choose between.
Daily routine and feel
- THOME: one 12-minute session, with voice prompts telling you which area to treat. THOME says to glide in slow, upward motions and start at Level 1. Its FAQ describes the sensation as warm and soothing, and recommends daily use.
- Quadthera Titan: about 5 minutes at first, then up to 10 with an automatic shut-off and a 5-minute beep; a sensor pauses output if you hold still. Quadthera recommends daily use (every other day for sensitive skin). It’s designed to be gentle, and Vogue’s tester found her skin “a tiny bit smoother,” with more glow, after four weeks.
If you’re likely to skip sessions without structure, THOME’s voice guidance is a genuine advantage. If you want the shorter routine, the Titan is two minutes quicker.
Brand studies: what each one reports
Both brands publish results from studies they commissioned, each run with the brand’s own topical product.
- THOME: ACE Skin Lab tested The Glow with THOME’s Collagen Boost Ampoule on 22 women (December 4, 2025 to January 2, 2026). THOME reports figures such as a 251% radiance improvement after one use and 122.9% for elasticity.
- Quadthera: P&K Skin Research Center tested the Titan with FORHERTZ 3D Booster Mask Gel on 20 participants from April 16 to May 15, 2025. After four weeks, Quadthera reports +32.2% surface firmness, +49.3% visible skin density, +21.5% visible elasticity, +14.4% visible skin sagging and −44.8% pore depth, plus +156% 3D skin radiance measured immediately after use (Quadthera results).
The two studies used different labs, products and measurements, so their percentages aren’t directly comparable. Quadthera’s covers a full four weeks of use and reports both firmness and pore measures.
Price and running costs
THOME The Glow Signature lists at $399, THOME was also running a $329 sale listing, and Olive Young US had it at $299 on October 8, 2026. THOME recommends its Boost Ampoules ($22.90 each; THOME’s Complete Ampoule Set was $368.60 on sale). The Titan is $1,100 including FORHERTZ gel, and Quadthera says any water-based conductive gel works, so ongoing costs stay low if you use a basic gel. Quadthera also includes a 1-year limited warranty. See our conductive gel guide.
Both brands accept returns of unopened devices within 30 days, with the buyer paying return shipping.
